Review Detail of phoenix_8888 in Under the Veil of Night

For those who like Flowers Bloom in the Battlefield done by Sorahana, the author for this novel some will like this one as well. What one has to note though is that it is completely different from the other novel and it took a while to adjust though the style is somewhat the same. Young balanced, super bright characters with a lot of stories to tell in the future, keeping in mind that this story is set in the "21st century" with the focus on high school, gangs, clans, government and community as well as those who are affected by it. Do it I like this novel - yes, but not as much as her other novel. I think one of the reason is that the pace is slooow which we were warned of by the authors. As such it can be frustrating for the reader who wants speed. Plus there are some aspects of it I cannot gravitate to, though I do like the camaraderie and friendship of the main characters. I have no problem recommending this story, however it is an acquired taste for the reader.
