Review Detail of IsaacaHawke in The CEO's Woman

pros - I seriously fell in love as I started reading it, the female character was everything I wanted after I started reading these types of novels & I liked the ML well enough too. He wasn't borderline rapey like a lot of these ML's are & it was developing well too with the right dose of arrogance & talent to back up her plans to protect what's dear to her. But. Cons - I dropped it halfway. This doesn't negate the fact that this is a beautiful piece of writing but it had some problematic elements for me I don't condone rape. For any reason. I don't care that the woman was scum of the earth but using rape as a revenge weapon turns my stomach & frankly the fact that it's done so casually triggers me. Under no circumstance do I see rape as a necessary evil. Making it sound okay in any form gives rise to the possibility of justification for a disgusting crime like rape & I can't keep reading after that.
