This novel is gem. Yes, there is "r-a-p-e" and some may be put off by it but read it with an open mind. It wasn't rape in the legal sense, and the guy truly was innocent of it. However, many were so blinded by emotions and hate to actually understand that part. Having said that, what I find refreshing in this novel is the fact that the leads are human. They have flaws but more importantly, they are working to overcome those flaws. If you are patient enough and read this, you will find yourself locked in a roller coaster of emotions, swinging between anger then peace, hate then love. Author loves to play with out feelings indeed. Read this with an open mind and you'll find ... believable characters that you start rooting for.

So true. First i was also upset with the rape seen. But eventually i understood, it wasn't his fault. He really thought she is a whore. But the craziest thing is his rebirth part. He was really rotten to the core until she dies.... so frustrating to read that part and never expected something like that. So surprising. Nice one there author.
I didn't say it like that. Didn't you read the novel. It says because she was drugged she behave aroused. Whores are willing and act aroused. He mistake it for that. I didn't talk about unwilling whore getting raped.

Because she can't remember anything she thought she got raped. She didn't know he also infected with aphrodisiac incense stick. That lin quinquin ***** and his father both are really evil. Both are victim's.

Thank you for your review. I just found this novel. Could you please tell me if this novel has a never ending drama, misunderstanding, and suffering? I'm very careful now with my choices of reads. I have been greatly disappointed with what seems to be a good story at first then just got stuck with never ending misunderstanding etc. So over those types. Thanks in advance.
Well ... never ending drama? In a way, yes because they are both fighting and struggling together. Growing togeher. Imo, however, it is not the sort of frustrating drama. Enough to keep the story interesting and realistic. I believe once the drama is over, the novel is completed. As for the rest, no long-winded misunderstandings. Not where I have read, that is.
