I can understand where your coming from but knowing that this wasn't an English novel to begin with, you're setting the bar high. Looking from your previous reviews to other novels as well, all you do is complain about translation quality which is unfair to be honest, not everyone has English for their native language and doubt you could do better.

Stop reading the novel if you don't like it.

I study Chinese literature, but I still prefer reading in english. But the way this site translates is so much more inferior compared to **********. They shouldn't have claimed the right from ********** if they were ganna translate some of the novels they were working on this badly.

Why should I settle for something that is frankly below mediocrity? If I'm spending stones on chapters then I expect those chapters to have proper grammar and sentence structuring, not something that is barely beyond MTL's.. I don't care how hard turtle works to improve what she pulled from MTL's, I expect a certain level of standard when reading novels from someone as big as qidian, but they went with quantity over quality, it's annoying and sad, because it's lowering the standards of the translation scene as a whole, bigtime!

When the site first took off I was pretty happy with their translation quality, and even went and bought more than 10k stones. But the majority of the novels on this site are now machine translated and barely readable.....I still have all the stones I bought an year ago, because I refuse to spend money on something thats translated that poorly. Nowadays all a translator needs is a translating software and they are good to go..... They don't even bother fixing the grammar. The thing that annoys me the most is how all these machine translated novels that require you to spend crap tons of stones are rated 4 or 5 stars in regards to their translation quality...

If you feel the grammar is that bad , you can point it out where it is wrong in the comment section rather than just saying grammar is bad. Furthermore, I would have to agree that nowadays there are novels that are badly translated but that is only part of the minority. In addition, I have read this novel only up to 412 chapters yet and I didn't feel the grammar is that bad I would feel discomfort from reading it. This is coming from a person whose second language is English.
