I just want to start off by saying I really, really, enjoy reading your novel. It's the best sports novel I have read on this site and is definitely in the top five sports novels/manga/anime I have read/watched. I haven't been following this novel for very long, just binge-read it for a few days, so I can't really say on the stability of updates. Though with there being over 800 chapters in around two years, I think it should be pretty stable. The writing quality is also pretty good overall, with only a few grammar errors here and there that don't usually disrupt the reading flow. [Disclamer: May contain spoilers] Moving on, I love your characters! From Jake and the rest of the Atkins to Jeremy, they all fit well into the story and have something to contribute. I also want to give a shoutout to all the Atkins for helping Jake so much in his healing process and being so supportive and loving. Jeremy too, for trying his best to be a good brother to Jake to make up for all those missed years (I'm still mad about what the uncle did though). Of course, my favorite character is still Jake. Through these hundreds of chapters, Jake has had a lot of character development, improving especially well in his emotional development, which I feel proud of him for because of how far he's come since the beginning. Some thoughts/questions I sometimes have on my mind when reading: If Jake had gotten away from that woman early on in his childhood (let us say at 3 years old when his brother got away with his uncle), how good would he be at baseball? Like would he be able to show off more talent, or would he be worse at batting because of not being able to constantly bat at the batting cages? A question outside of the plot (kinda); So let's not even think about after Jake graduates from high school and goes to college or the majors and just focus on the time in high school. If only six months have passed since the beginning of the story, and there are 818 chapters already, I'm not sure how many chapters there'll be by the end of high school, not to mention Jake's life passed that if you (author) continue the story. Granted, there was world-building, family drama, and some other things that extended the number of chapters, but still, like, there are over 800 chapters already. I worry for the number of years to come for the novel, not that I won't read. Kudos to the author for being so amazing and writing this story, thanks :)
