No synopsis because there isn't enough content? Thats a big no-no right there. You should know how the story is going to start, progress and end before even thinking of posting it. Besides, it isn't that hard to think of a synopsis even when you've only thought up about the beginning.

some writers are discovery based story writers and that helps the plot by being unpredictable I think Jojo and hunterxhunter writers are like that and there's nothing wrong with writing like that as long as the content is good

i get your point but if he can't even think up of a synopsis i'd say there is something wrong

and I think we should encourage him and helpfully tell him to do the synopsis and tell him it's bad manners to write like that in synopsis section because mate nobody is going to listen to someone who looks like he's hating on them. So I think you should give him like most of the community has given to some of the amazing writers as we're all amateurs at a point of time what should be counted for is if he's really willing to listen to the audience. Thanks!

Sorry about that, I see where you're coming from though. To be very honest, I don't know exactly where the story is going to go and I'm just writing off whatever comes into my head (after a little organisation), however I wrote up a synopsis since it does seem to be an issue. Thanks for the tip!
