This is probably my least favorite novel on Webnovel. It's sooo shallow. I know there are tons of cliche "betrayal, white lotus little sister with ex-fiance, new love with powerful hot man" but this one is the worst out of all of them. The FL spends almost all her time wallowing in despair and heartache and doesn't do sh*t about her problems. There's also lots of nonsense about her "cold eyes that have hints of so and so emotion." If they have emotion, they aren't cold! The dialogues often feel copy-pasted, especially the ones between FL and her sister. At least put some effort into the dialogue, if nothing else... next, there's too much drama, too few explanations. We're thrown right into the story (which is fine, lots of novels are like that) but we don't get any substantial explanation/backstory even after 15 chapters. That is NOT fine. If we are to enjoy the story, we should get the backstory. Of course, the backstory is probably some abominably cliche sh*t like "I was in love with my ex-fiance when he suddenly got stolen away by my sister, etc etc" but it would be nice to know the details, right? Right? Also, I read through the first 15 chapters and all of it had some kind of crazy dramatic dialogue, lots of crying, etc. Evidently, the author(s) is fond of mindless drama. Kind of like people who think that the amount of kisses in a relationship determines the amount of love their partners have for them. I regret voting for this novel. Even the plot synopsis is terribly unoriginal and boring. If this review gets taken down, that just shows that whoever wanted it taken down is as shallow as this novel. Such bad taste!

Like "oh he doesn't love me anymore because he didn't kiss me today :(" I'm describing a relationship that's entirely dependent on physical affection rather than a relationship where the couple actually communicate effectively and equally. This kind of novel is the former, and it makes me so angry that it turns perfectly fine characters into walking vegetables.

So glad I read the reviews as I was looking for something to pass the time while waiting for my fav novels to update. I can’t stand ubbbber drama. And if there is ubbbber drama then the writing better tight and well written and hilarious. I’ve dropped a ton on here that started off well and then too much drama killed it.
I took a look at the new female novels in the queue (the ones we vote power stones for) and all of them look extremely trashy, especially to a feminist like me.

Nah, all of the novels in romance section has similar plots like heart breaking, abuse of their family to look like damn damsel in distress, back stabbing, agawan ng shota etc... But it up to the author creadibility to make some twist and an opinion coming from a reader like me who puts half of his life in reading this is all I can say " If this story can not satisfy you then find another one, no one forced you to read they want you to read to conclude it is all up onto you."
