I don't know why, but I love novel with rebirth, reincarnation, transmigration. But I am sure I like this novel, though I don't know why the title become "End of The Magic Era", while it was Throne of the Apocalypse. But what ev

Probably because you, like most other people, don't like this kinda boring world full of tiring obligations and other pressure and want to immerse yourself into the journey of someone else in another world. Don't worry, I'm with you. Nothing will ever be better than novels like that. Especially chinese novels because chinese novels set in modern day are almost never that good, mainly because of racism and chinese ideals. There are exceptions though, I do have a few truly good modern day novels, but most of them have fantasy elements in them.
:D well, my fav is rebirth thou, because they can do better or make better life for this second chance. I just hope there's no romance thou. And my fav rebirth novel is The Human Emperor :)

To add to that; When the MC's get some form of 'Cheat' that explains why they are better then any other person you could pull off the street: Possessing a Biochip, acquiring a System, Having a Magical Library in your head, Advanced Cultivation technique, God empowering your Soul, Born with Mastery over all Magic, anything that gives them a leg up on the competition of "Heaven Loved Geniuses" that are so prevalent in typical Novels.
