First I likes to say thank you to the author for being able to create this book I definitely know how much stress doing this particular kind a of book does a quite a number on your mind. and now for the review the concept seems to be well thought out as well as so world creations pretty spot on with everything. character development on the main protagonist seems to going pretty smoothly although there's a couple bumps besides that it's a well-rounded character besides the moralistic Outlook. all right this is towards the the people that read the book and got to the part where mc took in a child and started acting kind I understand many of you didn't like this but you do realize this guy's not going to constantly be a sociopath even though most of the book has him constantly killing innocence and horrible people, also the author had pointed out this mc going insane or into a slow a abyss of madness. so I wouldn't say the things he do is out of character. Plus if you read the book further you would see how he actually treats her as well as the people around her.
