I haven't read the novel, but for me having visuals usually help understand what is going on. Though sometimes novels add or have differences then the manga. I would say read it cause what happens here doesn't always happen there. Hope that helps!

Ostainia:Some stories are portrayed better in one format than another so I was wondering if that was the case with this as well (whether one form is better or worse is more of a personal preference but I'd still like to know what others think ^^).
