I'm unsure about what you mean about him being a moron. (Volume 1's notorious for its comedic gags and often people take it too seriously.) If you mean his poor attempt at the beginning to avoid the tropes, only the fall in them anyway. *shrug* The card appearances are explained in volume 2 xD (card fights start in 3). 3. A decent mc is entirely subjective. Especially when it's a story of someone suddenly swiped from earth, thrown into the middle of nowhere, where he has no idea what he's doing. A flawed character. What it sounds like you're describing is ...a chinese novel main character? I find the flawless characters the most boring. It certainly wouldn't work out for a comedy. 4. Once again, I cannot understand for the life of me why those few individuals enter this story, ignore the description, and take it too seriously. I mean, there are direct references and parodies of animes within it (for example: The Disastrous Life of Saikki K. Although, I virtually minimized the gags from volume 2 and beyond.) Not directed at you, but how do I make someone lacking a sense of humor, laugh. Damn it's hard. Well, they're not lacking humor--they just find it elsewhere. BUT your review itself is fair game though. Fair enough. Volume 1's gags are a hit or miss. Either you laugh or don't. *All in all, this is a trash novel xD.* But it's my trash series. (high sells on Amazon and audible + rising patreons didn't want this to die. Honestly, it is a miracle I'm currently on volume 7 with so much support haha.) Anyway, that's enough of me babbling. I've seen the same line many times over, nearly exclusively for volume 1: character's a moron/idiot, blah blah... He should be OP (although I ended up slow-dripping that and made him outright god-like in the last half of volume 2.) All can say in response: How many novels out there have idiot main characters. So many comments out there saying, the mc's an idiot. They're all idiots LOL. They won't do what you want them to do. They won't be perfect, flawless, badass, psycho planet killers. They're idiots. ~Seriously though, hopefully you find something to your liking.

Well, I don't need him to be an OP dude or anything, also this is entirely subjective to my own point of view, so it's not me trying to label everything as what I want, other people would sure love it and the story isn't bad. I'm just not someone who can be patient enough to stick around until he doesn't have to watch everyone get or almost get raped again. Now, I'll explain why and this is all just my own reason, I'm one of those who immerses myself into the story through the characters shoes. I look at everything from the main characters view. Which is why I was dissatisfied, cause I'm not a voyeur. Anyway, thank you for responding to me and good luck with your story.
