i don't understand why china ban this novel?? it isn't about any religion or religion support novel it obviously fantasy. I don't see any racist or goverment attack content may be a bit gore but not that much

They think Chinese citizens are so stupid that reading ghost stuff will make them bad. Anyway, this is what happens when someone holds absolute power. No right to express 😑. Pitiful

It’s to do with supernatural, possibly also because it’s in a modern setting too. They banned historical dramas and time travel (such as going back to the warring period) because it is “disrespectful to history” and also banned any lewd stuff below the neck. Anything resembling corrupt government officials, lawyers and such, is also forbidden, even if it just resembles the Chinese government. They really shot themselves in the foot in the film and tv industry too with these censorship regulations.

They didn't just change the name. I've been told the ghosts are going to be presented as more scientific to get around this supernatural ban. The gore and violence are also going to be toned down a lot. Pretty much the only thing that can save this story is the author going ballistic with the horror theme again. Which let's be honest has taken a backseat to fights and various mysteries in the latest arc. If there's anything good about this ban it's going to be a return to the tone of the first hundred or so chapters
