Story was enjoyable for a while, but there are way too many coincidences. Alex just happens to join the school that the only SS rank mercenary in the nation is hanging around. His 'mission target' happens to be his former teacher's long lost family. Student council president happens to be someone he rescued on a mission before. Saya happens to be part of an assassin family (why? Nothing ever even indicated this could be a possibility). Oliver is likely to really be this top grade mercenary he's been playing pretend as. Everyone he gets close to just happen to have a secret life/past that have something to do with his previous mercenary life that his father was trying to get him away from. Story was much more enjoyable when the MC was blundering his way through a normal life.
