im not ve far through so i cant say much except as good as this story could be, i feel like the MC is just dragging it down and some parts of the story just make me annoyed because of pure stupidity when i read them so i give up. no more. please.

Ah, that's unfortunate. The earlier chapters are made longer because I felt that it needed a bit more rising action before the climax. Obviously, this novel is more darker than it seemed on the outside. Take a time to read the later chapters, you'll understand why
