I have only two words: Linley World. Also this book is pretty good I haven't gotten that far but I'm already liking it, you don't need to know the premise of the world going in either, at least not the first one, but I'd still recommend watching the first episode just so some stuff with ppl other than mc is consistent to you.

I haven't seen another with an mc called Linley and CD is a pretty well known book so I thought 'linley world' would make more sense verses cd world, since linley world at least narrows it down to the wushan continent and beyond or a world he creates
