Review Detail of Kiwi_N_Cat in Ball of Nothing

I came here from reading another story by the same author. I'm surprised by the different style but I like this as much as The Liberal Assassin. I'll try to write an unbiased review here but I think this author is seriously skilled. Both books are very different in genre but there is this unique style of writing that lets my know it's definitely the same person writing. There is two main difference from Ball of Nothing and The Liberal Assassin despite both being great stories. 1. Ball of Nothing is a more relaxed setting and open ended question and the fun is the journey, not the ending. 2. Ball of Nothing gives a more pacifist vibe than The Liberal Assassin. (obvious reasons) I'm not saying I prefer one over the other seeing how they're very different. However, I think you can see how much the author has improved since they started writing. Season 1 is rather choppy but you can see how the skill level in season 2 is closer to that of The Liberal Assassin. Granted, this author has a very interesting plot that doesn't let you go once you start. However, I like to read something that doesn't have strange phrasing or grammar errors that are glaring. The typos have decreased after the author had the help of a proofreader and I'm thankful for that. It's not error proof for sure but I can accept this level of error. I'll rather not comment much about the plot seeing how many people have already done so. However, I would like to bring this to the author's attention. The pacing works well but the chapter length needs more consistency. Some chapters look as if they ended in a hurried note like the author couldn't wait to get the arc over and done with. It makes all the previous effort of giving your side characters life go down the drain so you should pay more attention to the minor details. It might be slightly difficult because of how many charcters you have but if there was one point to improve on, I think it would be this. That aside, I think it's a great piece of work and everyone shouldgive it a try. Season 2 is much better so if you can live through season 1, I think you'd stay till the end. It's definitely worth spirit stones if the author gets contracted in the future (not surprising seeing how the anks and views are rising steadily) but I hope the author doesn't charge us 10 stones a chapter or something that ridiculous. Free readers will be lost by high pay walls.
