It has a very unique setting and style as compared to the mainstream popular series. The MC here is by no means a child despite the physical form he has acquired. In fact, gender isn't a rule that applies to Zero. It's often hilarious to see Zero's unique point of view for even the most common things that we know. His reactions aren't anything you can anticipate and most of his comments will leave you in stitches. On the side note, this is by no means a light-hearted story. There are some very profound messages and it isn't meant for readers who dislike the more serious and heavy life topics in a fantasy setting. The author has expressed and touched on many topics that are sensitive so proceed with caution as the point of views expressed can be very brutal. Surprisingly, it is a very good read for those who would like to find something that can be completed within two or three days. Like one of the comements, this story is still rather young with a huge space for further developments. There are many side characters but the author has done well to give most of them an impactful impression for the readers. Characters here are not just a name to fulfill a purpose, they are imbued with life for the readers to relate to. Personally, I relate very much with some of the side characters more than I do with Zero. I highly recommend this story for anyone adventurous enough for something different and if you like it, I extend the welcome for you to join the rebel army in the writer's discord. Just remember to approach this with an open mind. It's not a read for everybody but it's worth the time spent reading the first hundred chapters. The start could seem slightly rough as I think the author is still trying to find the right pace and style for the story.
