Review Detail of TaiXai in The Lord’s Empire

Before I begin my review I would urge people to ignore the negative comments about the story being premium and not worth the SS cost per chapter that are everywhere. The story has a stable release rate as well as a good story quality, while some people may find that the power scaling in the story makes no sense or is bad/lazy, I would say it is actually the opposite, as when looked at in the bigger picture it makes much more sense than compared to power scaling in many Eastern Cultivation oriented novels, the main reason being this is a kingdom build novel on a national/global scale. To properly understand parts of the stories power scaling and actions it is required to retain information garnered from much earlier chapters as it is referenced occasionally as well as expanded on over time. Now part of this aspect is that there are many loose ends or plot holes as many commenters have begun to denounce on WN however they are points of interest that are meant to draw in long term interest in the story, this story does not submit to the instant gratification mentality that is popular in many popular media forms but much like a city/kingdom building Sim requires patience of the reader to reach a more satisfying and fulfilling end. I would recommend this novel to people who enjoy long and slow campaign type situations that can last for many hours. Translation Quality/Stability: As with most/all Voltaire translation it has top quallity translations with a stable release rate. Story Development: Refer to long Type above Character design / World Background: This is where the story loses points in my opinion partially because as written above this story requires a long waiting time for its payout but also because of some items could definitely be described or introduced better or could be expanded on more to create a better overall understanding of the story and characters in it. An example would be the actions of some of the factions displayed in the story such as members of the Ancient clans and Sects. While relationships between the nations/Legatees can be tied to historical references and happenings, matters related to the ancient clans and sects is more obscure, While you can get a rough understanding of these factions with some knowledge of their foundations such as Nu Wa, Fuxi, the 3 Sovereigns or Taoism. The actions and relations of these factions when introduced are not explained and when you see members of these factions acting certain ways or factions siding one way or another, it can leave some confusion. And as for the world background as with many novels pertaining to alternate worlds/realities properly introducing it and explaining it without ruining storylines and the like is a hard task but still just certain aspects of the world background and how the world came to be could really be put in better words or explained more, because overall the explanations about the world are slightly lacking and while it is a Fictional work having a Fictional string oif though or reasoning would still be nice rather to just having to look at it like it's just how it is.
