Another story about a woman who swallows all her dignity (why do they call it pride?) and suffering for a forced marriage with an abusive assh*le who hurts her both **icologically and phisically because he's jealous (or whatever other reason he finds justifies his actions) disguised as a charming love story... Sincerely, it makes me want to puke and slap a lot of people out of their hurtfull cliches.

what I don't understand is wen xuxu clearly had a good husband right by her side all throughout the story but still chose that narsistic fellow with nothing good. And I feel sorry and angry for the second male lead..... Hu xiaoxiao and xia yanting is quite pitiful. plus I hate this male lead not only is he soo self centered but because of him two women had to go to prison as well... one of them was delusional but the first one was clearly his fault... just infuriate wen xuxu he got on to a relationship and wen xuxu got together with the second male lead. and I dont really like how author tries to portray wen xuxu as a strong headed women when she is clearly just a worrisome one. the female characters in the story are clearly into m's... who could tolerate those annoying young masters for soo many years especially that lu guy too.... this story made me bite my tongue a few times too. and jiao chen's death... the author is simply heartless
I can understands that ML abuse the FL unintentionally (especially before marriage) as unintentional cold treatment because he is an asshole who didn't love her. but later on it became some sort of deliberate torture (he even raped her) By all means there is no normal woman would have this amount of abuse and still have the same love for the man who abused her no matter how much she loved him. It's really kind of sad to see kind of novels that justify domestic violence.

Even males don't like a tattered woman who just nod shyly when he pains her physically, sometime mentally also. But I also believe that reason for almost all the authors to include physical actions like these is just to collect cheap sympathy from readers. I mean, come on, only a few humans can ignore the plight like this. Note: I still remember that one of the top novel here showed freaking R*pe at the very first paragraph, if not in the first line. And in his/her previous novel also there was mention of child born from unsolicited intercourse in the very first chapter.

To put it in simple words, its a "toxic relationship"... You see, I used to read this novel... But I dropped it once I have reached chapter 300... Because, I can't take it anymore... I mean the way he treats her and how he called her dumb woman and all the other stuff... At the beginning I taught that he would change for better after they got married... Sadly it become even worse...
