Review Detail of animelover1477 in Divine Emperor of Death

I liked cultivation and novels and I thought to give this a chance with all its high reviews and it had a lot of chapters. And I read and though a good steady mc has morals he attaches well to his new family. I like the character in the new fam, mom strong and confident. not a weak flower vase queen but a partner to the king. and I thought oh a king that doesn't have multiple wives hallelujah . and I was at 30 chapters , and the story was building traction and character and plot and then boom , mc got 2 wives 30chapters in at what 7/8 years old. I get turned of by harem novels I don't even pick them up, but I gave this one a chance and was disappointed. I mean mc had no say , the ist candidate came because his father couldn't a d wouldn't take a second wife, but he pushed it off to his son🤯🙆🏾‍♀️. then in the same chapter his mother also says nope you have another one betrothed before you arrived. so he got 2 in one chapter. I don't need wife drama. like now taking in wives brings family drama, political drama where the empire will stick their nose into his family and I was liking their family of 4 turing into 5 with the baby on the way. but the author had to go a ruin it for me. I'm still not yet invested in the story and you bring I the potential of irksome female wives. imo this is a turn off, and even read a review that mc takes his wives on adventures with him. but still no thanks , I want a one woman mc like his father, and they can travel the continent.
