Character development makes for a great story in the long run and it doesn't make the characters have a one track attack. Your story is great so far and one of my top 3 favorites since love death note as preset.

I loved Death Note too, that is until L died. The rest was just Light struggling to be a psycho, I couldn't bear to watch it, but finished watching it anyway..

Yeah when L died it also died and the ending was somewhat not satisfying for me haha
