I know right... I almost skipped over this book until I saw the title! Then I was like WHAT WHY THIS COVER?? But trust me, if you like cold, intelligent MCs and face-slapping, you'll probably enjoy this novel.

This cover has nothing to do with the story. The only thing it has in similarity with the MC is that she's female. Otherwise, completely out of character.

I'm a fan. I'm the type that skips all the covers that look too fluffy and pink, like all those face-slapping wifey novels. I think Novel Updates used to have a more modest thumbnail for this, too, but now the gap between the softness of the NU thumbnail and the goriness in the actual story is disturbingly wide.
