If you guys are easily offended about the skin racism in this story don’t read it.. The story is nice but the blatant racism and also stigma about black skin people turn me off from this story.. If you guys don’t mind it then read the story.. I feel offended from this story cause I’m a natural tan skin girl.. This story make it sounds like black skin is ugly while being white and fair like jade skin is pretty.. I mean beauty is in the eyes of beholder.. Everyone is beautiful and pretty no matter what your skin tone is

I know we both have our own opinions but I personally think it’s not something to be that offended by. In different cultures different things are seen as beautiful. In many parts of Asia people see pale, white, and having jade like skin as beautiful. But in America people would purposely go out to tan because sun kissed skin is seen as beautiful. The definition of beauty varies in different cultures and that’s just how our society has always been.~not saying that our society shouldn’t change tho

IAMHD:Every fl here has skin fairer than milk, smoother than feather. Writers mostly angelic, inhuman beauty. The rest of us, who look like a coal mine, are portrayed as the ones who gets face slapped by the fl.
I get when people say it’s apart of asian culture to prefer light skin. I see it all the time. As a tan asian, everyone around me uses whitening soap and all that stuff while my relatives are always commenting on how tan my skin is. I think that having a different preference is okay. However, looking down on an entire country for their skin tone is not okay. People can like things and have their own preferences but it’s not okay to think that whiter is superior and that you’re ugly if you’re darker.
