It's good but is too slow 20 chapters to cover just 2 days(maybe even fewer days were covered) That wouldn't be a problem if there was anything fun happening but the only thing "exciting" that happens are the battles. that instead of having the feeling of a good fight it is just cringe-worthy material At first, I was having fun with the novel but nothing fun really happens and a find myself skipping most of the long descriptions(really, what's the problem with the authors that use 300 words to describe a cup of water{just an example})

The whole thing about nobles having to be arrogant doesn't make any sense Why would a noble like to have an image of being an asshole? It sounds just like an excuse to the protagonist act like he has chuunibyou

Thank you so much for the review and sharing your thoughts. Thank you for also reading the book. It is something that I do for fun so I appreciate people investing time to read it. In regards to your comments, I understand and accept that I do have my weak points. Action is not my forte, I will admit that. I prefer to delve into the thoughts and hearts of people, exploring the psychosis of the human condition through a creative outlet, and the action isn't the focal point of the story, but an expression of the characters journey and development. And that may often go over people's heads or be too boring for some, which causes the book to seem slow and clunky in parts. But that is how I write, I like to build a world that you can visualize and understand the inner machinations of, thus the rather long explanations. I understand that my writing definitely isn't for everyone. Also, in regards to the arrogant nobles comment, I can understand your view point. It may seem strange to have nobles want to be seen in that way. I am basing the culture and attitude of the nobles off of a mixture of the ancient Roman aristocrats and the nine rank system in ancient China, and the feudalistic nature they carried of, not only looking down on others, but also giving off a feeling of superiority and power to exemplify their positions and standings in the societal order. Every action could be used against you politically, so you would need to constantly maintain a certain image of strength, refusing to let others look down or belittle you. But that is all just inspirations and I can understand that my ******* abilities may have been unable to communicate that correctly. But this is also just a fun hobby for me, so I write what I want and am interested in, not so much for anyone else. I'm thankful that you were able to bring this to my attention and I will take your words into consideration as I continue to experiment and grow as a writer. But this is how I am choosing to write this particuliar story, and if the way I write really isn't your style or to your liking, I'm sure there are plenty of books on Webnovel you can read that will hopefully be to your liking. You can even recommend them to me if you know some as I am also an avid reader. Thanks again for the feedback and I really do appreciate your thoughts and opinions 👍
