This story is fine at the beginning... until the first timeskip. After that is an endless cycle. Of timeskips, that is. A brief summary of what his routine is, then skips a month, two months, then one year, two years... Not to mention his "best friend". Author just glosses over how they developed their friendship, and instead just says "they became best friends because the system said they would". Everyone is addicted to MC, I can't see any problems that would hinder him any time soon. Reads like a summary, is a summary. That being said, it makes me feel... satisfied, I guess? After the "hardships" the MC faces, it "pays off"? The grammar is also fine, no spelling mistakes so far, iirc. Except for the Korean terms, which make me... shudder... the writing is fine as well. TL;DR The story is wish fulfilment at its peak.

LIKEBut it's kinda good though, that's what I was trying to say. I'm not really good at praising things, but when it comes to pointing out the flaws? Now that's my forte.
KoFu_:Of the 46 reviews, yours is the only one that is actually a review. How ****ed up the reviews are now a days? Thanks for the tip, I would not waste my time on this novel
That's my point...? Anyway, there's still a way to make a story about those two topics without feeling too "wish-fulfillment-y". But this? This doesn't even try to hide it. In fact, it's presenting wish-fulfillment as something to be proud of, when I fact, it isn't. It's something to be frowned upon.
NihilisticBeauty:I think... If you're going to combine system and kpop together, you're def going to get wish fulfillment?
... I really like reading wish fulfillment after swimming? I mean... As long as it satisfies the author or the reader, the story is... Mostly good, in my opinion...

Well, you can't call that a proper story when all it does is just that. It needs to do more, invoke more emotions other than satisfaction. Like dissatisfaction. When there's a conflict, it's always satisfying to see it get resolved, no? Well, this "story" doesn't have any conflict. Or at least it doesn't until up to the point where I dropped it. My point is, stop pretending that this story is good. It's not bad, sure, so let's just put it in the middle, "mediocre".

Hmmm... I mean, sometimes I read novels for the emotions, sometimes it's for the satisfaction... I mean, as long as you like reading it, it's fine. I'm also just kinda planning out a kpop novel right now... I mean, I just kind of want to do it... Point is, if you like it, then its good. Wait. Why do I even care? Meh, I just wanna waste some time, yanno?

It makes sense, from a subjective point of view. ONLY from a subjective point of view. Oh, so if you're just wasting time, then it makes more sense, considering that I read up to 10 chapters of this... "story"... to waste time. And I... liked it, I guess. By then though, I realized how many glaring problems this novel had, and reading it became more and more of a chore. If you want to continue, then fine, it's beyond me. But if you want to waste time AND enjoy it, I think you should look for better novels, is what I'm trying to say.

Also, the part where the MC kills himself JUST because he can't be a f**king idol doesn't really sit well with me.

Honestly, with the way the story is developing, I don't think we're EVER gonna get his backstory. Also, I think that that really is all there is to it: he couldn't achieve his lifelong dream of becoming a K-Pop star, and killed himself like a petty lil *****.
NihilisticBeauty:Yeah... But honestly, we haven't gotten his full back story yet... Sooooo

NihilisticBeauty:Mmmm... Well, that could happen... I'm just going to continue reading to see :p
