This story is what keeps me coming back to this site. Its a interesting mix of eastern fantasy with a western MC. The author tries to stay true to keeping his character a Non-OP MC, and for the most part is successful. The supporting characters have some depth, and at this point think the writer could safely explore the story from their perspectives more often.

I'm glad that you like it, m8! Hopefully I'll keep you interested enough so you continue coming back. I don't think that I'll ever change the PoV from the MC for any longer period of time than a few paragraphs since I don't like it when other novels do it, but I will try to explore the side characters more in the future.

Thank you! I usually drop novels, if they start using other PoVs too much. It mostly feels like the author has no more ideas for his MC, so he creates whole Arcs with the MC being a side character, till the very, very, very laaaaaaast moment, where the MC faceslaps everyone. Or if I get half a chapter of introduction for every stupid thing a new side-side-side-antagonist does. If I wanted other PoVs, I would read other novels... Well, that's not completely true, sometimes other PoVs are extremely interesting... for a while... or funny, as a way to have contrast with the MC. But that's only funny for a short time.

I totally agree. I have dropped novels when they started screwing around with PoV changes. One of the things I swore when I started writing this novel was that I wouldn't do things that I hate when other authors do.
