I read the novel some time ago, did not catch up but I can tell you that if you're a fan of cultivation you will get hooked. The approach is not overly different but the writing style gives the novel a good sense of environment. Characters, surroundings and various details are nicely incorporated. Romance exists and its not a story where the plot armor extends to his relatives, not like they dont get hurt and stuff. A short synopsis would be that an assasin cultivator from Earth gets chased and dies fighting. He gets reincarnated in another world or dimension which is clearly not earth. He previously found a cultivation manual on earth through which he found out that earth once had a very high amount of experts but the energy disminished and the cultivators had to progress their manuals from external to internal. And then you follow his life on how he uses the now overpowered internal martial arts to become one of the strongest. Trust me this novel will not disappoint you.

Is this a cultivation to immortality novel? Or cultivation only improves martial arts?

great novel

Hard to say if there is true immorally in the end as it's not translated that far yet. But as far as cultivation schools are concerned there are internal arts which most resemble traditional martial arts. And then there are external arts which are more like traditional immortal cultivators. Cultivation increases lifespan. But by hundreds of years and not eternity. There is also Buddhist cultivation that involves reincarnation. But again dunno where the main character will be in the end. What I can say is that he is plenty op in a believable way.
