If you watch "Princess Agent's" chinese drama..... You can skip the first half of the novel.....it's the remake of this novel and it's really the same....the drama version is good with a powerful intelligent and perfect MC who gives his all for chu qiao but she fails to know his true feelings and helps the evil prince of Yanbei only to get used by him and get cruelly betrayed and the MC is always 5 steps ahead of all in terms of brains, strategy and strength making it even difficult to even touch a strand of hair on him but his only weakness is chu qiao....so the yanbei princeuses MC feelings for her to trap him making chu qiao lose her trust in Yanbei prince completely and when she realizes her true feelings and the MC used to be cold to her to protect her from the bad guys.the Misunderstanding which caused them to break apart was a part of MC's plan to save her from the royal family as the MC was sure he can get her to love him again once everything settles down and pursue her like crazy making chu qiao think If he is the same cold guy or not...... In the end both realize their feelings but due to the deadly trap the MC uses himself as the shield to save her again and the drama ends with the MC telling her to live on and falls into the ice lake....its kept a suspense whether he is alive or not......Maybe the second half of the story will be in the Second season of "Princess agent's".

usag1:Hopefully there will be 2nd season as it just half of the novel..yue has been rescued n the rest was awesome as more interaction between CQ n YWY.. was so sweet when they met each other again n Xiao Ce or Li Ce was the best character as friend..
Yes..I do..easier way is Google princess agents novel spoiler but will give u 3 link that hopefully satisfied u...btw there is 1 translator that has not finished translate it but in my opinion.. translator in here did better job... If you need spoiler from sweet moment between YWY n CQ..and ending.. few translator did very good job and translation.. So far no sequel has been confirmed and even Kenny Lin who acted as Yuwen Yue wrote a farewell message upon the ending the show which's saying he does not know weather to say see you again or goodbye 4ever.. At least I love the 2nd part of the novel... as so sweet

Do you think you can reconcile the second part of the book with the first season of the series? I ask why I was listening to the translation through an audio on youtube, and it seems to me that it is a little out of touch with the reality of the first season. Maybe it's just my impression. I am sad to know that a fight in court over plagiarism can take away from all of us the joy of watching the second season. They could come to an agreement, and let the rest of the series be filmed. Both sides, will gain much more with the production of the second season, than if they stay in this eternal fight. And thanks for responding!

Being honest, it's hard to reconcile as the series changed the beginning of the plot.. China bans anything related with transmigration so the 2nd part.. they will have to put extra scenes where she regains her past memory and it will twist the original story as well... Btw stay healthy and safe đđ
