Why are the MC’s so stupid in these books. He tells the girl he likes not to go to US to be with her family and to instead stay in china. Then proceeds to ignore her for the next 200 chapters as if he doesnt know how she feels about him. Even admits how he should spend more time with her but does nothing at the end. If your into books where they dont even kiss until the end, you’ll love reading this.

I agree and will put this on hold for when I'm really bored, not really into these so called shounen stories. Thanks for letting me know he literally ignores the girl for 200 chapters... I've just gotten to 50 chapters past the part where he tells her to say and nothing still happend, so knowing this, led me the decision of benching the novel for now. Ty.
Instead of benching this novel, I highly recommend you to throw this crap into the trash. Its perplexing how this is one of the 2 reviews with a sub-3 star rating within 5 pages of reviews. The MC is a fucking bastard to the girl OP described for like 80% of the novel... on top of a slew of things I cant bother to type.

I'm 140 chapters in, and I have to admit I'm pretty disappointed in a lot of things but mostly the MC. he's such a loser he's so passive and does whatever others want him to do and I just don't understand how can tolerate that annoying brat. so just wondering will he change or not will he get better?? also is there no action because so far there has been none??
You have listed 2 of the worst things in this novel - MC, and the brat. And the answer to your question is yes, the MC and brat will change for the better in the future.... near the end of the novel (somewhere around the last 100 chapter). So its not worth reading for the future "character development" when the author clearly wanted things to stay at the status quo for the vast majority of the novel. As for your second question, there will be more action in the future but this novel is primarily slice-of-life, so you're reading the wrong novel if you're primarily expecting action.

hahahahahahaha I am indeed reading the wrong novel but I didn't expect a novel with dragon king in its title to be slice of life

It's one of the worst novel I've read, so if you're already feeling apprehensive about the it and is thinking of soldiering on hoping for it to get better - don't. It wont get noticeably better until like the last 10% of the novel
