I read the novel twice a few years ago, read it again last year then read the comics that came out following that. This is one of rare find, a treasure read that you binge and binge again and again. Amazing storyline and writing. Impressive drawing that made the characters came to life. Hope the next time around, it will be a live action that will follow. I can't wait.

I think the story pace is just right. Don't mind the readers with a negative feedback as they probably have already established some expectation to the battle scene and were quite disappointed with their failed expectation. I'll take this reaction as positive since they are quite invested with Emery's fight and the novel in general like I do. But thank you for making that clarification with Maeve character as I am now looking forward to her character development and how she will fill the puzzle 20 yrs back to the storyline. As always, I enjoy your story weaving and your fresh take to myths, lores and legends of past twisted so refreshing into this novel. Looking forward to more chapter with relish.
