The enslavement and following torture by his master who he trusted is ridiculous as we are later supposed to forgive her because she was also enslaved and tortured. complete joke. every time MC tries preaching or bragging I have an urge to drop the story which finally happened when the dean revealed the elf slaver's past and the MC got ashamed of himself (!!!!!) because he hated her for enslaving him and torturing him and his adoptive mother for a long time. I've read a lot of novels and I can proudly say that this MC is one of the biggest pussies I've seen, especially given how OP bonuses he had gotten from the Gods.
