l loved the story, still do . Sure the planet was destroyed and that sucked but l kept reading and l wasn't disappointed and l don't wanna spoil but eventually most of the side stories will get resolved one way or the other. you'll find that the planets destruction was a creative and necessary plot devices to keep the story going and exiting . lt only gets better from there.l wouldn't change single thing in the story.
