I like how the mc isn’t all powerful and attacking the dragon thing then somehow winning. Quality writing

Overall though it’s been a pretty quality novel so far
Without much lingering, orion pushed open the weighty wooden doors, immidiatly a symphony of sound and scent enveloped him, wrapping him in a tapestry woven of laughter and curses. The air was thick with the heady aroma of ale and hearth fires, mingling with the earthy scent of leather and the tantalizing hint of spices. Torches cast flickering shadows across the room, their flames dancing in time with the lively pulse of the tavern's heart. - Krilltasty18dCommented
Description is very nice and helps with the scene It would be better throughout the book if it slowed down a little though because at least in my mind there isn’t quite enough world building in between scenes, it moves at a pace too quick to feel connected

While she wasn't exactly wrong, most of the students here would never fight in any war. Heck, half of them would never develop a skill that was actually useful during a war. No matter how cool a sword skill was, artillery still existed. Unless your sword could deal with an air strike, it was not suitable for use during a real war.

True it’s like they were trained to want mass produced garbadge that is nothing but a waste of time. This novel is pretty cool the speed it’s goin so I agree entirely
I've seen some say the side characters are getting too much screen time, so I've thought about it, and I plan to switch the perspective later on.
