I can't do that. You see the title of the novel? The MC I am try to create will not be anything like anti hero. In the initial phase only, it looks like that because he was still stuck in his theoretical knowledge with no practical experience whatsoever. He will seem anti hero only for few chapters, but as story progresses, I tend to make him more villain like character. Read at least till chapter 45 before deciding.

I think you are misunderstanding something here. See from his father's perspective. His son has no talent. Then what would he wish for his future? It would be to live a better life. Just doing business, getting married is one of the most orthodox thinking of parents who want their child to live better. It has nothing to do with slave for family.

Reverend Insanity is one of the best novel out there. I don't think I am of that level to write such a goated character, especially since it is my first work. I am just trying my best.

Pills can be used as an auxiliary. I won't be showing pills that improves cultivation in this novel (at least for our MC) because it straight up goes against the very essence of Cultivation. He would have to work hard to improve, there is no easy road to take.
In the last 10 years, Li Gang had been working very hard. He started cultivation very late, about at the age of 5 years. But he didn't stop his true motive. He made three most crucial plans he had to follow before starting the cultivation: Sharpening his mind, Learning about poisons and pills, archery. Making poisons is a lot more easy as compared to making pills. This is why, alchemists are much rarer.
