Hello! I'm responding to this comment specifically because it's the latest one, but I'll try and answer all of your questions here. Although Ares will only be able to use the destruction pillar, there are ways in-universe to use other pillars, so it's not a hard limit. I don't know if this will count as spoilers, but in the second volume there will be treasures called 'enablers' that will be introduced. 'Enablers' allow people to use other pillars but are quite rare. As for the length of this novel, I plan on it going for a long time. I have thousands of notes and plenty of ideas to keep the novel going for a long time. About the world, this is technically an expanded world. At the start of volume two, the rough structure of the universe is mentioned. There are many worlds but the separation of them is more to do with level of cultivation than mortality/immortality. As for species, there will be new ones. There are already a couple in the newer chapters if we're talking about monsters. As for civilised races, there will be going forward, but probably not anything major until volume two which has a greater focus on character introduction and world lore. For power scaling, becoming a god is 'as far as it goes'. I won't go into the specifics because there are some lore implications that I don't want to discuss this early, but godhood is very far away. It's going to be a long novel and immortality is not the end goal. Finally, energy sources. It's just mana for now. Mana is going to be the main energy source going forward. There may occasionally be others, but nothing that ever replaces mana. Hope this helps!
