Fearing that her sons would ultimately turn against each other, Misako made the difficult decision to abandon Lloyd, leaving him on his own. It was at this point that Misako's student, Koko, stepped in to take care of Lloyd and raise him as her own. However, Lloyd's upbringing as a spoiled brat took a toll on his relationship with Koko. He treated her poorly and even dropped out of Darkly Boarding School for Bad Boys after being told that he was not cut out to be a villain, marking a turning point in his life. Driven by a desire to uncover his origins and find his biological mother, Lloyd embarks on a quest that leads him directly to Misako. In a fierce battle, Lloyd and his crew are defeated, resulting in Lloyd's untimely death. Tragically, Lloyd's demise occurs before the final battle, leaving nobody aware of his true destiny as the chosen one. As a result, Ninjago, the fictional world in which the story takes place, is destroyed.
