Honestly I was skeptical at first why would mc chose "status recovery than "3 stats points" or "random skill" but considering where he was and how dangerous the world is dangerous then status recovery is the right choice especially you don't know when or where the mc live are in state of danger, also don't mind those brain dead people who only thinks for the power as they don't understand that "Survival" comes first before power, To what I understand... mc is getting "Status recovery" as much as he can after all he don't know when or is it possible for him to get a recovery skill so yeah it is understandable

Considering that "Mana" is superior in every type of energy I guess it's understandable, Mana are just slightly below to the other type of energy such as— "Null", "Magicules", "Cosmic", etc. doesn't mean Mana isn't powerful while CE are just below to KI energy and don't forget that he have system that define the law and world balance so it's understandable
