Well haven't really thought about his surname until now, I don't think it would be that necessary in future chapters if needed I will add it.

I think in books only Voldemort and Snape could fly without any external aid and it hasn't been explained in too much depth. So, I feel there isn't a direct way to fly in Harry potter and also mc isn't at that level right now with magic proficiency.
