    Careus deserves better indeed

"My lord," Marcellus spoke with urgency, "your subjects, driven by their power, have wrought havoc upon the mortal realm. Half of their population lies in ruin."

    Inevitable, unfortunately.

Careus, the bearer of the illustrious Ardere Lumiere, confronted Frankenstein, the enigmatic Weaver of Cosmos. A symphony of astral energies echoed through the celestial haven, setting the stage for a cosmic encounter that transcended the boundaries of mortal understanding.

This chapter, indeed, was longer than the ones before. I also think this one had fewer dialogues and much more environmental descriptions but I want my readers to be able feel and imagine the very places. Esse does seem like a cunning plotter.

Quite perceptive, I did want to reference that meme haha

Careus said in a solemn tone, "Esse, you keep a low profile within the immortal society, preferring to mingle with mortals in the outer parts, rarely venturing out. Despite not being particularly strong, you possess detestable abilities. Assuming the form of my late wife... it's not merely an imitation. You perfectly matched her mana signature and essence of existence. If you had changed your voice, I might have believed she was here in the flesh. Your immortality surpasses the norm, and I suspect killing you here wouldn't be the end. Frankenstein's flawed creations will be his downfall. Leave now; I care not for your shady plans or proposals. Depart before I change my mind. Do not force me to bring the heavens down upon you; I am willing to go to such lengths."

The next chapter will be there soon!

"Does the matter truly hold significance in the grand tapestry of fate?" The eerie voice persisted, yet this time, a figure manifested before them. The sight startled both Marcellus and Careus. Even Careus, who had maintained his composure through the unsettling voice and sudden intrusion, rose from his seat. The question hung in the air—just who was this enigmatic figure?

Yes, he is referring to Frankenstein. The *he* in previous dialogues also referred to Frankenstein.

In a moment of contemplative silence, the lord absorbed Marcellus's counsel, a subtle nod betraying the depth of his understanding. "Marcellus," he mused, "your words carve through the complexities like a well-honed blade. A symphony of wisdom that resonates. In the face of the looming challenge, I have come to a decision. For my people, I will wage a war against the very creator of the cosmos."

Frankenstein's ability to put his thoughts into reality resulted in the creation of the civilization. They haven't reproduced, not yet, ahem.

The woman assisted him in this task, studying the sphere and its inhabitants to better understand how to develop their civilization. Together, they worked to create an Omni-purpose energy called "Mana" that would sustain all life within the sphere. The woman mastered this energy quickly, using it to further progress and improve their civilization.
