An item is a slang term meant to be used to mean a “couple” like boyfriend and girlfriend or otherwise.

Everything should be explained in detail in a very soon upcoming chapter but to put it simply the war started 4 years ago and officially lasted 3 years with the rehabilitation of Amelie starting about 1 year before the current day hence why Chloe Hollings is still very involved with Amelie.

According to Reinhardts knowledge at least. In this canon he just knows that her and Emily broke up several years ago for an unknown reason. And Lena has been single every since.

I had mentioned in chapter 1 Brian planning to see it after seeing it on a billboard but in hindsight I could have had more mentions of it

I should have specified that Brian is more looking down at the floor but essentially he’s looking at the ground trying to avoid eye contact and she makes him look up from the floor towards her. That’s my mistake

i just like the idea of an average person having to navigate through complicated impossible circumstances. in actuality i'm writing this because i want to write Overwatch characters in complicated situations that don't involve some massive end of the world threats just rather some day to day frustrations and problems Brian being the fulcrum.

the next 6]2 or so chapters are going to be more light while the 4-6 after are going to be really long beasts and measure about 12-20 pages each i don't want to double up and make 1. 50 page chapter that should be 2. so i'm putting this one and the next out really quickly because the more romantic lore heavy aspects are going to start soon.
