Each step he took towards me I took one back in the fear that he was going to lose it and tell me to get rid of the baby. I stepped back until I hit the wall and had nowhere to go. My first instinct was to cover my stomach with my hands so he couldn’t hurt me. I closed my eyes and prepared myself for whatever was about to come. “You have our baby, my baby, in your stomach and you’re telling me you don’t want me to have anything to do with it.
