that is literal her species either check the wiki or read on and you will see. and vampires are not "monsters" in this setting nor are they undead( but their powers are death adjacent) they are just another humaniod classable species.

also why would he have brown skin and a waist long hair none of the other losla residents have brown skin heck Anya is a green eyed blond. and as for the hair length he obviously has some form of short hair seing as it doesn't say anything about him having to move his hair around when he puts on his equipment.
