A well-crafted novel with clear descriptions that vividly paint the world of the book. The intrigue lies in its uniqueness, particularly the twist involving the eruption that granted powers to mankind. I would give it a solid 4 stars overall.

It's pretty good, a few grammar/spelling mistakes here and there. But not one being in this world of 7 billion is perfect, even now, I may be making mistakes. Now for the story, I appreciate the slow start. It's what im very used to, and the character complexity is decent. The relationship between the girl and mc is a nice relief from the rest of the novels I've read. The only problem I have is the genre, I'm not into western fantasy nor dark fantasy. But, this is still a fun read even without being my preference.

Well, at least for this story. It will be, I'm trying to avoid all the problems of writing novels. Of course, there are mistakes here and there but not one being in this world is perfect.
