how did he idiotically save them? it literally didn't affect him at all.

also I love how he teaches the hobs because he is an assassin but he's already lost the element of surprise and talking to them doesn't negatively affect him at all but gives him an advantage and adds a level of excitement to the fight

I love the author I really fw the story and how it's not just him lazily describing a villain but he gives lyle depth and doesn't just make him a lazy villain with no emotions but gives him depth and morales without all that emotionless bs

dude don't even listen to none of that people are weird nowadays. if you write about a villain he needs to be omniscient master everything and all that and being a sadistic emotionless phycholath where the author cant go a paragraph without commenting on his stupid emotionless gaze. sorry for ranting but I just don't want the edgelords ruining one of my fav novels.
