The MC is ultimately a coward who ignores his combat potential development route

The MC fails at discretion but thinks he’s low key. Any MC that can’t see their faults is trash in my book.

Forced plot events, the MC uses a tumor to justify his self-contradictory actions, the MC realizes then quickly forgets his system doesn’t care/help him it only wants him to work or DIE. His powerlessness and personal problems are hidden by personal illusions of power/control he’ll never have

A backwards story where the author promises past life knowledge BUT the MC has amnesia. The MC with no memory clearly applies common sense he shouldn’t have to his reincarnation.

The MC lacks backbone, was cucked and doesn’t understand himself. There’s also a a lot of vague background that’s regularly mentioned but left unclear for “mystery”

A deeply written hidden gem. Better than any recent released cultivation/adventure story. Not for the naive or faint of heart.

Quite the cultured story, however a bad cultivation novel. The MC habitually delays action after recognizing people’s hostility which opens up a vulnerability for their following scheme/harmful plot.

This story is amazing. The desert background, the MC and Hanks’ friendship, his ruthless exploitation of his opponents makes this novel a solid winner .

Why is it that every Chinese MC hides his power from his loved ones? The lack of trust and poor communication is certainly a lack of filial piety. Being forced by circumstances doesn’t count as trust regardless of surface level feels.

The MC is inspired with heroism and mercy but he also fears killing. He nerfs his own power continuously and willfully remains a weakling. After wasting more than 10 years he decides to power up seriously. Forcing us the readers to watch him struggle with what should have been easy fights. Might as well have died by a powerhouse sneezing to reincarnate and try again,

Another MC with thoughts contradicting their actions, intentionally slowing their growth and failing to reach their basic goals.

A very weak, unstable, indecisive MC with bad instincts and worse social skills. The early chapters are a drag.

Legendary weapon chest

All the characters are great except the MC. He can face his severe mental issues but willfully ignores working on them. He makes mighty goals, waits for things to work out and throws a tantrum when they don’t. A better novel for a mad, battle hungry MC is After Fishing For 10 Years.
