I considered even that those wings didn’t work anymore because the creatures died, but then again, the bones were what was needed, so it’s all the same, and Zephyr’s wing was cut off anyway. Also: if they managed to get Zephyr’s wings back, what about Nereus? He didn’t even do anything to ‘deserve’ it like in Zephyr’s case. He deserves his eye back.
