[Canon Shift] was the name of the ability, or at least what I referred to it as in my being when the 'rule' accepted it as an ability I could have. The way it worked was hopefully as simple as I imagined it. When a major change to the plot happened, I would be notified by this ability. For instance if say Snape decided to go into the forbidden forest for a potion ingredient in response to something I caused, I imagine I'd get a notification through the ability that would look like this; - Majime_W6mthCommentedCh 22 A lost soul who lost everything.

Speaking of America... Why don't the wizards (who aren't pureblood) just use guns? I'm pretty sure you could aim and pull a trigger way faster than saying some words, and it could be insta kill. The wizards wouldn't even be able to defend, considering it's probably too fast for them to say anything.

Pretty sure you could accomplish those feats with a rock as well, yet you don't see someone complaining about rock licenses. If a rock hits you on the head, you die. If it's thrown softly, you'll probably be unconscious. Sure, it isn't a fireball, but you don't need to yell out words or swish your wand to throw the rock. And considering that a rock would most likely go through a fireball and kill the opponent, I suddenly wonder why people don't use rocks in Harry Potter.
