In the end, I was able to get two more spells under my belt, Flamethrower and Firewall. I was tempted just to start working on the last spell I would need before I can get Flame Manipulation, but I sensed the approach of an unwelcome guest with Magic Sense. Hermes casually strode down the back alley street where the abandoned church was located. I would say that I am using Fate, Fortune, and Luck pretty much as the same thing because I think they are all just ways of describing the same thing.
Fortuna was more affected by our fated bond than I was since she was a Goddess of fate and fortune and was much more in tune with that sort of esoteric stuff than I was. I thought about that, but I don't know if it is intelligent enough to do so since it doesn't copy any other magic that gets used inside of it.
I didn't stop until I was on the eighth floor. I saw the dungeon open up much more, with patches of grass growing on the floor and moss covering the walls. I made my way to a far corner of the floor and cleared a patch of ground, preparing it for the circle. Once everything was ready, Great Sage relayed the information on the creation of the circle to me. I got to create it as soon as I knew what to do. I dipped my fingers in the paste inside the bowl and began to trace the circle on the ground.
