For all she knew, she would have only a slight advantage or none at all with her Type 95. The Type 95 she's wearing might not even be hers, perhaps they managed to make a stable version and began to mass-produce it. This is spoilers for later volumes/seasons of Tensura, but Greed has a unique property where someone who is more 'greedy' can usurp the skill from someone under the right circumstances. Yuuki uses this to get the skill in canon, in this case Tanya's desire makes her greedy enough to take the skill for herself

The fort was also intended to be a good rallying point for the military should operations need to be launched against human nations like Blumund or Falmuth, though in the case of the latter, she had already developed a contingency plan of sorts. Said contingency would take time, however, and she wasn't sure if it would even end up working. The conditions needed to be just right for it to work, so it wasn't enough to fall back on alone. Blumund, however, would be a pushover in any conflict. Technically it originated from the last name I gave Gabiru and Kurt which is 'Eidech' which did come from the german word for 'lizard' yes
Looking at the proposal extensively, and by extensively he meant having Great Sage read and summarize it to him, the proposal was mostly for a network of roads beyond just the one connecting Tempestia to Dwargon. The plan included the road from Tempestia to Dwargon, sure, but it also included the construction of a sort of 'checkpoint/merchant' town near the Dwargon border. There would then be a second road connecting this border town to the newly-established Lizardmen capital of 'Eidechia'. The name 'Eidechia' seemed to only have the 'ia' at the end of the name due to Tempestia having the same ending.
