Sobs escaped his mouth as he reached up to touch his mothers face. The blood that covered it was still warm but her skin was cold. Titus furrowed his brows and concern washed over his weary mind. His trembling fingers scraped the blood away from her face to reveal a gaping hole under her cheek bone. One of the stray bullets had penetrated her skull. The bottom of his freshly shaven jawline was revealed and the visor continued to raise as her lips approached his. Moments before they converged she licked her lips and smiled before sinking her teeth into the man's neck. The other inquisitors quickly unsheathed their weapons as the Lola spit out the chunk of flesh and the seduced inquisitor clutched his throat, struggling to scream. Lola successfully thrusted her xiphos into one of the inquisitor's necks but the blade bounced away in the opposite direction as soon as it made contact with the blue hue on the armor. She gritted her teeth and continued to try in desperation to penetrate the armor. The short sword kept repelling off of any of the blue embroidery and the inquisitor stood indifferently at her futile attempts. - JaValentin4mthCommented

Titus looked back at his mother who had unsheathed her xiphos. The double edged short sword was only ever brought out in dire situations. There were intricate engravings along the edge of the sharp blade, emanating a green hue with a vibrating hum. - JaValentin4mthCommented

Ah, the only memories she received from the body are the ones mentioned when she woke up. That included her name, age, depiction, and the location in which the prolouge took place. Abigail’s goal in this life is to find meaning, and if she had all of the memories from her body, there would be no point in exploring such a vast, fantasy world. Abigail does grow to understand her “father” (I don’t want to spoil anything). But this was a good question. I hope I gave a reasonable answer :)

The Existence isn't stupid! He's going to be patient. How do you think he became who he is?! I personally dislike making antagonists really dumb, so having a more intelligent one makes it difficult for the reader to know what's going to happen next.

Hello Yami! Yes, this novel is still ongoing, but as of right now it is on a temporary hiatus/pause. I'm a college student and I have to focus on mid-terms and upcoming finals. I will continue this novel after I have completed the semester (I actually have some chapters done already but I'll release them when I'm ready).
